Dat plaid, what’s not to love? I always wanted a beat but this might just be better. I’m sure it doesn’t drive as nice but LOOK AT IT.

I think I just found something to replace my unnecessary want for Honda Beats

Right? My 5 year plan was replace my NC with a Fit or Civic as a DD and then import a beat but these are wonderful. And the cabriolets have the wide body from the turbo 2.

Of course! Never know when you might hit that powerball and have millions burning a hole in your pocket. Although my 5 year plan is to replace my DD next year and then save up for a JDM import, I had been leaning towards a beat but these are amazing.

Plus you’d have people wondering what it is or confusing it with convertible Geo Metros.

Yeah it is, apparently the cabriolets get the widebody from the turbo 2, I’d rather get this and do a d or b series swap.

Beats are pretty reliable from what I’ve heard, but they aren’t easy to do maintenance on due to the tight packaging and mid-engine layout. I love them though - a fellow in a local car club here imported one! :)
I’ve always liked the Honda City or Honda Today as well....maybe one of those would be cool too? :O

But I’m (ashamedly) ‘Murican.... In all seriousness I don’t have the energy for that type of project so I probably would, but if I ever did swap it would be something vaguely period correct but with US parts availability.

Yeah I’m sure a city would be easier to work on, could maybe swap a d series in or something to make it easier. But yeah, I love small Honda’s, my first car was a crx si, and after a few miatas I think I want to get a fit or civic as a dd, and import a fun car. The Toyota sera also makes the list for me, but other than that it’s mainly Honda’s.
